Our East Jerusalem program explores the unique “in between” status and circum­stances of Palestinian perma­nent resi­dents of Jerusalem.  Participants tour the city and meet promi­nent East Jerusalem leaders who reflect on how their expe­ri­ences and needs compare to those of Palestinians in the rest of the West Bank.

1:30pm — 3:00pm “East Jerusalem: Present Situation and Future Visions.” Presentation by Walid Salem, Director of the Center for Democracy and Community Development
3:00pm — 4:00pm Small Group Discussions
4:15pm — 5:45pm Cooperative Games and Interactive Activities with East Jerusalem resi­dents, led by Lama Mashni of Seeds of Peace
6:00pm — 7:00pm Dinner in Sheikh Jarrah neigh­bor­hood with all speakers from the day
7:15pm — 8:30pm Closing Circle in West Jerusalem
