Back to Cities & Itineraries

The Areas B & C trip is a modified form of our flagship Bethlehem program that only visits Areas B and C of the West Bank, remaining in Bethlehem’s suburban areas. This trip does not travel to Area A.

The program includes:

  • Orientation with security briefing and communication training
  • Meetings with prominent communal leaders, non-violent activists, teachers, Sheikhs, schoolchildren, teenagers and ordinary people
  • Visits to local schools, neighborhoods and villages
  • Cultural activities including games, music and dance with local Palestinians
  • Political presentations on the current situation from Palestinian leaders — examining issues such as the separation barrier, Palestinian political parties and history of peace negotiations
  • Safe, facilitated dialogue within a pluralistic Jewish group
  • Home hospitality with Palestinian families (optional)
  • Jewish prayer, Torah study and kosher food
  • Follow-up sessions including structured processing and integration of experience

Our time together forever changed my perspective. As a result, I am wise, burning with courage to deeply explore the human condition.”
